Weingut Daniel Bach in Cochem

We went there in summer for a wine tasting including a short hike in the vineyards. There we were allowed to try the first wine, which was so delicious that we took a box with us at the end. The wine tasting was interesting and very entertaining. In the very cozy Strauss tavern, we were fed with a vintner's snack, which was simply great. You could have as much of everything as you wanted, regardless of whether it was food or wine. We liked it so much that we're giving the tour away for Christmas and are looking forward to our next visit. Greetings Silvia

Very good wines. Although I don't like drinking white wine, I like the Daniel Bach white wines very much. They are light and fruity. Great summer wines. The Strausswirtschaft is cozy, the snacks are very tasty. We were very satisfied, spent two very nice evenings here and took home a nice selection of wines. Very nice ostrich tavern. Quite small and modern, sometimes quite crowded, so a bit like on an assembly line.

We took part in a wine tasting in September and loved it! A very friendly, funny way to loosen up the mood and to teach you about the harvest, the wine and other "basics". We would have liked to have taken the adventure wine tour on the weekend, unfortunately this is already booked 4 weeks in advance (understandably). We'll be back next time :)

Just great. We have seldom seen a winemaker who captured the mood of the participants so well and put the information about wine and its cultivation in a funny way. Not only was the wine delicious. The dishes too. Perfect price-performance ratio

very cozy Strauss Wirtschaft, inside very cozy with a personal touch. The siblings run the business with love, which you can feel as a guest. The taste of the wines given out, Naturallement the late harvest in particular Good enjoyment!

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food and delicious wines - and that including excellent and warm service! No wonder that people stocked up on boxes of Daniels Vino. Should we ever be in the area again, we'll definitely stop by!

In June there were four of us for a tour and wine tasting at Daniel Bach's. Had made an uncomplicated reservation by phone two days in advance. Short hike to the winery, back, through the wine cellar and then tasting with bread, lard, cheese, etc. Great experience, as the owner spreads a lot of joy and humor. This was our second wine tasting and it was not only informative but also fun. Then we struck and bought wines. Thank you for the great sayings to every cheer!

We spent wonderful hours here. Everything was delicious, the wine, the Vesper platter, liqueur and brandy. Nice ambience and very nice service. The prices are extremely cheap for what you get and compared to the prices in the region. Any time! Thanks for that.

We were utterly disappointed! According to Daniel Bach, a reservation was not necessary. If we were there in time, we would get a place. We were there 15 minutes earlier, but were told that there was no more space available. We have expressed our displeasure towards him, but there was no way in. We then went to the winemaker Walter J. Oster and received very friendly advice there. There we bought wine and liqueur worth almost € 300. We can recommend this specialist shop.

A bit hidden away from the tourist flow, which is absolutely great! Have emptied some glasses here, met the very authentic Daniel. The wine tasting including a short hike to the vines is highly recommended. A must is attentive eavesdropping on his toasts during the subsequent tasting ... 🤣

Yesterday evening we came with four people and were allowed to drink two delicious wines. Mr. Daniel Bach and his staff are very nice, friendly and competent. We spent two nice hours there and were annoyed not to have booked a wine tasting because it seems to be very entertaining and great. We noticed it from the adjacent premises. We were definitely not the last time here.
